English Summary
The Seeehorses discover the world
A children's book series inspired by a real world circumnavigation.
Each leg of the voyage brings new impressions that become new chapters in the books.
The Seeehorses – Eva, Elise & Elliot
Eva “The Fox”
Elise “The reasonable one“
Elliot “The daredevil“
They make the circumnavigation come alive — not as a nautical report, but as a growing story.
Blauwassergeschichten®
Blauwassergeschichten brings together a real circumnavigation of the globe and a lovingly told children’s book series. Starting in March 2026, we will set sail on a journey around the world — accompanied by our three little seahorse characters, who follow the voyage and retell it in their stories.
What we experience along the way is shared in a child‑friendly way: small observations, encounters, discoveries, and questions that gradually grow into new chapters. In this way, a real route across the oceans becomes a book world of its own — filled with warmth, curiosity, and adventure.
A world for anyone who wants to give children stories that inspire courage and invite them to broaden their horizons.
The children’s book series „The Seeehorses discover the world“
Real adventures. Told for little explorers.
With our book series, we aim to introduce the individual stages of our circumnavigation in a way that children can easily understand. Along the way, we playfully convey basic seamanship, geography, and cultural differences. We want to show that dreams don’t have to remain just ideas — they can become a path.“
„Our book series grows step by step along with our real journey around the world.
Each book tells part of the voyage from the perspective of our three characters,
Eva, Elise, and Elliot, who observe the world with curiosity, warmth, and an eye for detail.“
„This creates a unique concept: a real route across the oceans becomes a book world in which every stage of the journey inspires a new chapter.

Our real circumnavigation
In the spring of 2026, we will hoist the sails and set off on our round‑the‑world voyage.
Our first leg takes us from Croatia toward Greece — a passage guided by wind, seasons,
and the ancient traditions of the sea.“
„From there, the world unfolds little by little: islands and coastlines, seas and cultures,
and encounters that leave lasting impressions.
The seeehorses accompany every stage of the journey.
Alongside the real journey, a story world begins to grow: our three characters — Eva, Elise, and Elliot — follow the route,
capture their impressions, and turn both the big and the small moments into stories that later live on in the books.
In this way, a true circumnavigation becomes intertwined with a lovingly told perspective that sparks curiosity for everything that emerges along the way.
Each stop becomes a new chapter.
Some places become pages, some encounters become scenes, and some discoveries grow into chapters of their own.
In this way, what truly happens at sea becomes a narrated logbook of our journey around the world.
About Us – The People Behind the Stories
Behind the seeehorses, you’ll find us — Beate and Philipp.
We are the ones who sail, prepare, and document the real circumnavigation,
creating the foundation for the stories that continue to live on in our books.
We do not place ourselves at the center of the narrative —
that role belongs deliberately to our three characters, Eva, Elise, and Elliot.
They are the voices and perspectives through which we share our journey.
We remain in the background: as travelers, as observers,
as the ones who collect the places, impressions, and experiences
that shape the world of our book series.
Our home on the world's oceans.
At just under 13 meters, she sits in the water with both strength and elegance — built in the robust Scandinavian shipyard tradition known for safety, reliability, and true seaworthiness. Our Hallberg‑Rassy 42F MK I is more than a boat: she is a classic in her own right, a companion with character — made for long passages, deep‑blue oceans, and ever‑changing horizons.
Aboard Albatros, stories are written, nights under the stars unfold, storms are weathered, and sunrises are celebrated.
She carries us to the places where the maps turn white — ready to discover the world with us.
